Services & Fees

Common reasons why clients seek my services:

·Self esteem/self worth
·Family of origin issues
·Relationship/Marriage issues (sexual problems, lack of intimacy, emotional distance, frequent arguing, financial stress)
·Teen and Adolescent issues (low self esteem, difficulties with friends and/or parents, problems in school, substance abuse, sexuality and teen pregnancy)

My Approach

I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues. I often work with couples that are having problems in their relationships — whether in their sex lives, around financial issues, parenting or feeling emotionally disconnected from their partner.

I use a common-sense approach with my clients to understand their problems, and how they relate to the families they grew up in. I help them find new ways of communicating their needs to their spouse, partner or parent, resulting in happier, more fulfilling relationships. My clients enjoy working with me because I’m a great listener and I help them to figure out what works best for them, rather than just giving them advice that may or may not be applicable to their unique situation.

I offer a range of services for individuals, couples and families. I work from a systemic approach, meaning that I believe our problems and issues need to be addressed within the context of our relationships, especially those in our families of origin. This is particularly true in my work with couples as they often get stuck in a pattern of acting out old, unhealthy behaviors that they learned from the families they grew up in.

It is very important for you to see progress happening during your time with me. To that end, we will review your treatment goals every 90 days. Typically, clients see me for 6-9 months, depending on their frequency of visits.

Weekday, 50-minute sessions are billed at a rate of $125. I am a fee-for-service provider, which means I do not accept insurance as a form of payment. Clients may pay by cash, check or credit card.
